Skim Pembiayaan Ekonomi Desa (SPED) is a collaboration financing programme with Ministry of Rural Development aimed to provide Bumiputera SME entrepreneurs in rural areas the opportunity to sustain, expand and develop the business to the next level of success.

Eligibility
- Business operated & located in rural area identified by KKLB.
- Business must be 100% owned by Bumiputera.
- Registered with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM), Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM) or authorities/district offices (for Sabah and Sarawak)
- Valid business license from local authority
- Valid business premise, which is separated from residential premise

- Commodity Murabahah Term Financing-i (CMTF-i)
- Revolving Credit (RC-i)
- Cash Line (CL-i)
- Ijarah Thummulbai' (ITB) Financing
- Kafalah Bank Guarantee-i (Kafalah BG-i)
Margin of Financing
- Fixed Asset: Up to 90%
- Working Capital: Up to 100%
Financing Limit
- Up to RM250,000 per application (Note: Maximum per customer is RM500,000)
Financing Tenure
- From 3 to 7 years (not inclusive of 6 months grace period)
Profit Rate
- 5.0% p.a
Collateral
- Fixed asset to be financed
- No collateral for working capital financing
- Joint and several guarantees of directors/shareholders or corporate guarantee
Takaful
- Takaful/insurance coverage is mandatory if the asset is given as security for the financing (if applicable). You have the option to select the service offered by our panel Takaful operators or non-panel Takaful operators.
