WHAT IS iTEKAD ISHRAF?

“Asnaf Entrepreneurship Program” or “ISHRAF” is a social responsibility initiative by the Bank designed to empower individuals from B40/Asnaf category with the skills and resources needed to sustain and expand successful businesses.

ISHRAF GOALS

To foster a competitive and resilient entrepreneurs within Asnaf and enabling them to evolve into zakat contributors in the future.

Upon graduation of the Program, it is anticipated that the Asnaf will become bankable for them to further expand their businesses.

ISHRAF FEATURES

Collaboration with selected agencies/institutions on the implementation;

Identification of the prospects, i.e. Asnaf entrepreneurs based on established criteria;

Seeding capital/fund allocated for the selected Asnaf to uplift their business model; and

Appointment of training consultant i.e. Centre for Entrepreneur Development and Research (CEDAR) to provide continuous business advisory and coaching assistance to the Asnaf entrepreneurs.
