SME Bank Empowers National Language Through Tinta Sutradara Competition
SME Bank in collaboration with the Malay Language and Culture Society of Manchester (MALECS) and Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) are organizing an online poetry competition in a form of a short video, Tinta Sutradara with the objective to advocate the empowerment of the national language.
Group President / Chief Executive Officer SME Bank, Aria Putera Ismail said, “SME Bank fully supports the government initiative in empowering bahasa Melayu and this initiative is one of the ways to foster patriotism in Malaysian society around the world”. The Tinta Sutradara competition will be held from 6 March 2021 to 6 April 2021 and it is open to Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above.
Participation in this competition is free. Participants are required to upload a 1–3 minutes video on Facebook and/or Instagram with suitable pantun/puisi/sajak/syair/gurindam/or seloka in bahasa Melayu depicting the theme - Keusahawanan Nadi Ekonomi Negara and stand a chance to win exciting prizes such as iPhone, iPads and many more offered to 10 winners.
