SME Bank in collaboration with Islamic Relief Malaysia (IRM) has contributed RM20,000 to its fund enabling the flood victims in Klang to receive the much needed assistance as quickly as possible.

SME Bank Group President / Chief Executive Officer, Aria Putera Ismail said, "SME Bank acted immediately by dispatching two teams, through the cooperation with IRM as well as SME Bank's staff volunteers to the Hulu Langat area to assist the Bank's staff and public affected by the floods."

Islamic Relief Malaysia Chief Executive Officer, Zairulshahfuddin Zainal Abidin said, “Contributions made by SME Bank will be distributed to flood victims in Kg Perigi Nenas Pulau Indah, Bandar Bukit Raja Klang, Johan Setia, Kapar, Kg Jawa, Kg Delek, Sg Udang, and several other places in Klang. The items provided include essential food items, toiletries for both adults and children as well as sanitary pads.”
